Advisory Board
Unlike many investment firms, Churchill does not present
its investors with a set Advisory Board. We believe
it is important to provide fresh outlooks, opinions
and experiences thus at any one time we have between
three and five Advisory Board members, who sit for
periods of one to five years. The Advisory Board’s
role, through ongoing communication and formal quarterly
meetings, is to add to the existing depth of experience
of the Churchill team in making strategic asset allocation
decisions as well expanding on our network of opportunities.
Asset Managers
In conjunction with the Principals of Churchill, our
Asset Managers are the direct link between the assets
we acquire, the managers we hire and ourselves. These
key individuals are direct employees of Churchill
and are compensated to align their interests with
those of our investors. Their responsibilities include
directing the management firms we select, monitoring
the performance of assets against local and national
benchmarks and developing medium and long terms strategies
for the improvement of their properties. Asset Managers
meet twice monthly with the Principals and participate
in the quarterly Advisory Board and investment committee
meetings.
Finance and Reporting
Prompt, accurate and reliable reporting to our investors
and their advisors is extremely important to Churchill.
We stake our reputation on what we produce and the
honesty in which we report it. To accomplish this,
our head office has a staff charged with monitoring
all monthly financial reports from property managers,
conducting random audits of individual properties,
and generating quarterly financial statements for
individual investors.
